Student Enrichment
Last year, 52% of our budget (your membership fees and donations) went directly into the classroom to benefit students through our Teacher Grant Program. A department or individual teacher can identify a need in their classroom and submit a "Teacher Grant Request". For example, last year, PTSA purchased 60 graphing calculators for the Math Department that benefited approximately 1,000 students.
Senior Scholarships
Last year, 10% of our budget (your membership fees and donations) went into funding Senior Scholarships. Our Senior Scholarship program benefits graduating seniors by providing money to help with college, community college or trade school costs.
Library Enrichment
Last year, 10% of our budget (your membership fees and donations) went towards Library Enrichment. The San Juan Hills High School Library receives little to no funding from the district and is almost completely funded by the PTSA through your membership fees, library enrichment donation fund, and the "Leave a Literary Legacy" program.
